<p>on 1 December every year since 1988 international aids day dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS(Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) pandemic caused by the spread of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection and mourning those who have died of the disease.</p>
<h2>World AIDS Day: Objectives</h2>

<li>The main purpose of celebrating World AIDS Day every year is to build new and effective policies and programs to strengthen the systems of health and also to increase the capacity of health sectors towards HIV or AIDS</li>
<li>To make awareness among the people about antiretroviral medicines which can help them to fight against HIV infection.</li>

<li>it is viral disease, the immunity of the disease ends. T-cells of WBC are affected in this. It is called Aguired Immuno Deficiency Syndron.</li>

<li>The first AIDS patient in the world was seen in California in 1981, although it was named in 1982. This disease was first observed in India in 1992 in Goa. HIV virus is a type of RNA virus.</li>
<li>AIDS is spread due to unprotected blood provided, unprotected physical relation.</li>
<li>HIV is tested by ELISA(Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay) test.</li>
